2008-2003

Klaus co-founded a joint venture firm NComputing Co. Ltd. in Seoul/Korea where he put Hydrapark´s intellectual property to the joint venture. The new company based on South Korea took over production and the entire logistics, while the entire development control remained in Germany, Poland, Belarus and Russia. In 2006 the whole company moved to Silicon Valley (San Francisco, California/USA) where is was funded with 60+ million US-dollars some of the biggest venture capital firms, such as Scale Venture Partners (formerly Bank of Americas), Menlo Ventures, Daehong Technew Corp. and Questmark Ventures. The company overhead grew and new Thin Client hardware devices were developed based on new ARM ASICs. The company went on to become the #1 thin client vendor in Asia-Pacific and the #3 thin client vendor worldwide (IDC), with over 70,000 education and business customers and more than 20 million daily users in over 140 countries worldwide.

At the end of 2008 Klaus left the company in order to focus on his passion to develop the ‘next generation’ of computing, innovative ideas around renewable energy and some software/hardware developments for home automation.
